i am having a script which asks for some variables i take these variables and construct the command .
the command works fine using the qx /command/ or the back ticks .
my problem is that i want to return to the perl program and exit nicely . otherwise i endup with a console window which do nothing ( and can be killed safely ) with CntC.
i am in W2K using cygwin and activestate perl .
