Sounds like a great idea to me. I have a similar script on my to-do list, but not sure when I'll be able to get to it. Sendmail is widely enough used to warrant a module for it, I would think...

Sounds good; what I have seen so far looks like over kill. I was working from an Apache log processor; but I only need to trace userid <--> userid flows by msg size (accumulative) and what relay the msg was sent out. Nothing major because there is already a Postfix Log summary program - one I've been fiddling with at http://insecurity.org/pflogsumm/ and a e-mail sourcerer at http://insecurity.org/blackhole/
I should have a complete solution (or the basis for more work) by the Friday.
