I am looking for a package/module that will tabulate access statistics
based on apache access logs. So far the only one I have found is AWStats
on sourceforge. Does any one know of some other free software I could take
a look at that does this sort of thing?

There are more, but IMHO AWStats is a great package! I use it for 20 plus
hosts, all updated autmatically through its updateall script. Personally
i think its better then other free and not free packages. but...a simple
search of 'access log stats' on google game me a huge list...Google knows
everthing!
