What's unethical about it? What's wrong with posting it in multiple places?!! Not everyone on this list is a member of that list (and vice-versa). It is also very possible that someone on this list doesn't know the answer she needs (or doesn't bother to respond). It is not as if she is cross-posting (same organization, multiple lists).
