could well be. help clarify the correct solution then.
My assertion rests upon my experience that it is a problem for some folks, because they are under the constraint that at best they can expect to get only what the 'default build out of perl' will deliver.
hence my assertion.
As you will recall, I often argue that what one can do in such cases is 'deliver' the CPAN modules in any of a variety of ways that can keep them 'inside' of one's application space, and/or in such a manner that they will in fact install into the site_perl/vendor_perl slot based upon how the local perl is built so as not to have to do any of the classical 'how do I adjust @INC' solutions to find those modules elsewheres.
