I had an install of 5.6 that worked fine. I wanted to upgrade to 5.8. make and install went fine. However, my default "dbm" type has changed. Sorry for the ignorance, but, the way I can tell is that the previous extension on my dbm were ".db". Now, dbm uses the ".pag" and ".dir" extensions. How do I make the default for a "dbmopen" statement use the ".db" type? I imagine it is a Configure flag, but, I have not found it; or, is this something deeper.
