I'm using Perl with the Expect module. Sometimes when I spawn off a new process using Expect, I see this error:
"Error: could not connect pty as controlling terminal!"
It usually happens when I'm running several other Perl scripts, also using Expect, on the same machine.
Does anyone have any idea what this means, what can cause it, and how I can fix it? If this question is too high-level for this mailing list, would you tell me where I can better direct this question?
