  Yes.  The specifics on configuration may vary depending on OS version, but if you 
have a Web server [IIS, Personal Web Server, Apache, etc.] installed, you can run CGI 
scripts.  The ActivePerl documentation includes instruction on IIS configuration.

  I am sort of wondering why you installed 5.6.1, when the cuurent stable release is 
5.8.0.  If it is a Windows Installer 2 issue, you might as well pick it up from M$, 
since it is a free download.
