dynamic NT updating - exe , schedule task / cron job,

Dear All

 

we have a machine reservation tool ( an intranet web site)  which displays brief info about

the test machines including HP, Solaris,Tru64 & other unixes

& as NT as well which are just included but the info

( such as OS , version , packagesproducts  installed ,  current users , etc

in following manner .

System Info uname -a	LOGIN MSG (/etc/motd)	OpenView Products Installed	PATCHES ON $OV_RELNOTES/patches	bdf/df OF NON-NFS DISKS	CURRENT USERS	Live Cmds
Updated Jul 6 2002 sys_name1 10.20	Reserved by :pradeep Email id :pradeep Extn :2262 Purpose :CV Patch Testing Start date :03-01-2003 Close date :31-01-2003 Removal : Installation : Previous User :pravin

 

 

 most/all of the info is updated every day dynamically by executing some scripts as a cron job

 

I want to know how can we

 

1) get such info dynamically - or run some schedule task  on NT machines  .

 

2) whether   perl environment variables or anything else whatever  may be  , I can use to get 

these info from NT   .
