The script I am working on is the first script I have created from scratch. I have taken other scripts and dismantled them for educational purposes. The information I used in this script was taken from resources on the web, archive and the perl cookbook. I am just looking for tips/tricks/hints to improve my perl skill(s) as well as enhance the script I am working on. yes, it is for the job I do at work. Also, just look at the open() statement. Would someone well versed in perl do something that insane?
