Hi Guys
The suggestion I would need now is related to perl only in the way that I have done the programming in Perl.
Actually, I have written few scripts which I need to run between any two machines which are located far away from each other and having not too good network connection between them( packet loss and delay).

For eg. India and Sweden.

I would run the scripts for 30 sec few times a day and would like to take few measurements.

I would like to know if there exists any place where I can get an account and run my scripts ( one example is cyberspace.).

It is unrelated to the perl beginners group and i am sorry for that, but anyhelp would be appreciated

Thanks
Pravesh

Hi -

I don't see anything wrong...

But why don't you look into one of CPAN's modules;
I have had _very good_ results with Jenda's Mail::Sender -
easy to use, and you can send attachments too!

Subject: emailing myself?

Hi list,

I can send an email using send_mail...but does this
require the email comes from the web, can I write this
into my code as a function, and if a certain condition
is met, I can an email saying something it wrong?

Does send_mail have any problems that I should know
about?? running it locally on my machine shouldn't
affect anyone except me?

Regards
*being cautious
Ben
