Internet Explorer Session Count *Windows 98*

I am doing a POS for a Internet cafe' with 60 workstations .
I would like to sync the POS to check for active IExplorer windows over the LAN through the MFC or the registry... I em pretty sure that it does store a session count in the registry.. but could not get to the right key after 2 week of hard surfing.

Hope one has got the right piece of code I am looking for.. any bit can be a helpful bit.
