I have perl 5.6.1 running fine on XP. I use the
free ActiveState perl located at:
http://www.activestate.com/Products/ActivePerl/
Just go ther, hit the download, and install. If you want
to use IIS perl scripting, be sure to check that box during
install (default is on if IIS is active).
