this is very good. just what i was suggesting. although i am still not clear on where we do 'make' and 'make install' and where to go to find similar info on POD, itself. now, the issue is how people that want to know this stuff will know where to go to find it. and you may mention that this may even be of use for re-use of one's own code with even no thought of distribution. or retribution.
