Not sure. I dunno if the zlib module will speak uncompress or not. If worst comes to worst, you have the code right there in the gzip source code; you could implement your own uncompress, painful though it might be. % b) The files are not to be tampered with as the requirements call for % them to be registered % in a database for reference purpose.
