Talking of email-threading and suchlike, maybe this is of interest: http://www.jwz.org/doc/threading.html (although maybe it is also off topic :-) It's the description of an algorithm that does just that, written by jwz (Jamie Zawinski, a Netscape oldtimer) for an early version of Netscape, it seems, of which he claims that it is the best algorithm for that purpose. I don't know about that, but I did find the document interesting. It also features statistics and other information about the relevant headers. Elias PS: On the topic of jwz and Netscape, anyone going to the Mozilla 1.0.0 Party? (See http://mozilla.org/party/2002/flyer.html) I actually might, if I lived *anywhere* close to San Francisco, which I do not -- as you might guess if I told you that you frequently have to tell people from the US that, no, it's not the place with the kangaroos, that's _AustrALia_ (and not Austria) :-) -- Gefängnis für Hans Mustermann wegen | prison for John Everyman for Fälschung und Verrat | forgery and treason -- Die Einstürzenden Neubauten, Was ist ist -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
