Don't bet on it. % % May 23 17:36:26 machineName sendmail[5104]: RAA05102: % forward /home/lz/.forward: World writable directory I haven't had to hack sendmail in a while, but I bet it's refusing to execute any scripts it finds mentioned in .forward because your home dir is world writable (shame on you!) and so anyone could have put any malicious script in there. Try chmod go-w $HOME $HOME/.forward and then see what you get.
