IMHO the only way we are ever going to stop the spread of these viruses
is if people finaly get the concept that unsolicited attachments from people
you know or otherwise are not safe. I've been trying to drill it into the
heads of my users to always double-check with the sender if they receive an
attachment that they didn't expect.

Short of that, the best people can really do is buy an antivirus product
AND KEEP IT RUNNING. Not everybody can be reasonably expected to set up a
server that strips attachments from all emails, but at the very least you
should wear your software prophylactic if you are going to get emails from
outside.

Yeah.

Algorithm:
Check mail if PGP encrypted.
Check PGP signature against your key ring.
Remove mail if not signed with a key from your ring.

IMHO, I don't think virus writers know my passphrase to encrypt thier
virus
for outgoing mail.
