I don't call this "more than detailled enough"...

Two line can't tell much and I don't think we want to loose lots of time
to explain how to do one method and then having a reply saying that
wasn't the asked question.

Probably yes you can guess the question he is asking and you have 80% of
the chances that it is the right one, but there still a 20% for which
you don't want to loose time.

He is not stating where he's getting the password from, a database, a
flat text file, a variable in the script?
I mean we can't provide code snipplet for every way of checking a
password, we can't provide code snipplet for every way you can open an
URL (redirect to a page, print some html from a "print<<END;", etc).

I prefer some elitists that provide loads of help on many questionss
asked on the mailing list than a guy only complaining, after all, Andrea
is not at all a beginner and could be on other lists than here. She
gives a lot of time to help us and I think that unuseful posts like the
one you did are really a waste of bandwidth.
