Create a template of your report in a word processor (WP, MSWORD, etc),
save this template to a postscript (or pdf) file. Then in your PERL
program,
modify the place holders in your postscript or pdf template.
Alternative, I use nroff text processing command within PERL. I will be
interested to
know if there is a cool reporting tool within PERL besides
