On this subject: I am currently trying to sell Perl in my (highly Java-biased) shop, and having an uphill battle of it. One of the things that the brass wants to see is support for database connection pooling in a multi threaded environment. Now, I'm sure that Perl can do this, but it isn't something I've done before, so I don't have a ready answer on where to look. Mason? I know that version 2 of Apache/mod_perl will provide this, but that isn't out yet and who knows when it will be. Any suggestions on where else to look?
