Not very common in my experience - old modules tend to more often be left to fester than removed :) > Is there a list of > last deleted modules (explaining the reason)? In this case, the latest version on BackPAN is: http://backpan.perl.org/authors/id/A/AL/ALEXBIO/WWW-Vimeo-Simple-0.14.tar.gz The README for that dist shows the module as deprecated: http://backpan.perl.org/authors/id/A/AL/ALEXBIO/WWW-Vimeo-Simple-0.14.readme If you're curious about why it was removed from CPAN, you could try contacting the author themselves. I would imagine, though, that the author decided there were better options out there, and no longer wished to maintain their module.
