Seems to cover the basics but I haven't exactly gone through it with a fine

please don't post such resources here. it isn't free as there are
commercials to watch before the lessons. they are video lessons and they
are from 5 or more years ago and outdated and poorly done as well. you
are better off getting learning perl from learn.perl.org for free and
reading it and the docs to learn perl.
