I've installed perl 6 as well as other perls on Debian both in chroots as well as under /usr/local. > My custom version on OS X works just fine & after Googling the matter of > doing the same on Debian there isn't really any consensus on the subject. My advice after doing it by hand for so long is to use perlbrew. $ apt-get install perlbrew Then read the documentation and you're off and running. It is a great little tool for installing multiple perls.
