Hi Erez,

next time, please don't omit the links in your quoted reply, so people will
understand what we're talking about. (Unless it was one of GMail.com's many
braindamages, in which case I'm sorry for accusing you.)

I can also recommend Modern Perl and I'm also recommending it on
http://perl-begin.org/ among many other options.

"We" being me and my subordinate clan of underground gnomes who live in
caverns under Swansea and who are mortally afraid of Chuck Norris as he kills
all gnomes he sees in sight. (See:

http://www.shlomifish.org/humour/bits/facts/Chuck-Norris/ ).

Why should they ignore that? While common, it is still a mistake, which may
mean anything from a bad impression due to looking like a clueless idiot, to
not being accepted into a lucrative position. I've done them a favour by
referring them to the resource explaining the mistake and why and how it
should be avoided. And for the record, I said that only *after* referring them
to http://perl-begin.org/ where they can find the resources that they
requested.

Erez, it seems that you spend a lot of energy passing criticism on my replies
to the list. What benefit do you feel it yields? May I request that you lose
the attitude?

Regards,

        Shlomi Fish
