I've been collecting a list of books and many other resources on the Perl
Beginners' Site:
http://perl-begin.org/
Especially of note are:
1. http://perl-begin.org/books/advanced/#pbp - Perl Best Practices by Damian
Conway.
2. http://github.com/chromatic/modern_perl_book - chromatic's "Modern Perl:
the book" - I'm not linking to it from the site because it was not released
yet, and is still under a restrictive licence, but it is a recommended read.
Its text is available online inside the github repository and you can build it
and read it.
3. I also enjoyed reading http://github.com/shlomif/mastering-perl , but it
may require an introduction to the material of the first two books: Learning
Perl and Intermediate Perl.
Nevertheless, I suggest you go over the entire site and see what you can
learn.
Regards,
Shlomi Fish
Thanks Shlomi for your response.
I would make sure to post a new mail for any new topic.
Thanks
Jatin
