This is not a beginner-type question. Any `beginner' would have at *least* said some form of 'thanks in advance' (even though that is frowned upon where I come from). They would also have posted at least a bit of code that they've tried. Now, what type of system do you want to remotely shut down? I assume Windows. Across what type of network are you working remotely? What are your intentions? If your intentions are illicit, leave..., if you are asking seriously, rephrase your question with code that you've tried, and the CPAN search text that you supplied that didn't provide you with the results you were after.
