john, i decided to check this site out based on your comments. sorry to agree with you but it is full of weak perl and poor english. my biggest complaint is the constant use of saying
-- with @first_3 == ( 2, 3, 5 ) since that isn't proper perl at all. he is using pseudo-perl to show some equivilence but it would be so easy to show proper perl for the same thing. also he doesn't actually explain slicing and even says its syntax is slightly confusing. compared to doing the code without slicing, slices are fabulously simple sugar. just another web tutorial written by someone who doesn't know perl well enough to write about it. sorry but they almost all fail. uri Uri Guttman ------ u...@stemsystems.com -------- http://www.sysarch.com -- ----- Perl Code Review , Architecture, Development, Training, Support ------ --------- Gourmet Hot Cocoa Mix ---- http://bestfriendscocoa.com --------- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: beginners-unsubscr...@perl.org For additional commands, e-mail: beginners-h...@perl.org http://learn.perl.org/
