"My boss made me do it" ranks right up there beside "The devil made me
do it" or "I was just following orders". None other these excuses are
acceptable.
Really, this should never have been made an issue on this list. You
should have corresponded privately with the individual if you had a
problem with it instead of making the snarky comment you did.
No, disclaimers-in-public-areas are a plague, fight them where and when
you can.
