Thanks for your reply. I couldn't find stdlib.h in /usr/include . But I
already installed libstdc++-2.8.1.1-sol26-sparc-local , is it the same
one ?

I couldn't confirm this. I can't remember. I just click the one that
have been selected by default.

Yes. I got it from sunfreeware.

The above package have been installed before I installed perl. But it
seems ok during installation. May I know why it is so important which
option did I choose during Solaris installation ?

Any help would be appreciated.
