Thanks for all of the help on the delimited text file. I have another
question. My form has several drop down lists/menus. The application that
I'm importing this into has 1 field number for each selection, but I can't
get the delimited file to flow properly.
Example
The pull down list is for Mortgage Types
Option one is Conventional
Option two is FHA
Option three is VA
The file I am importing it into checks the appropriate boxes. Their tech
support told me to encode the file name as
X,, for conventional
,X, for FHA and
,,X for VA
Problem #1 is when I separate by commas, it reads the commas in the names
Problem #2 The text file thinks the first field is whatever the user chooses
in the menu, when it actually could be the 1st, 2nd or 3rd field. I don't
know how to correct this problem.
