Ah. I'm sorry, I hadn't realised the CONNECT header existed. Well, if you
can't find anything suitable, can I suggest you:

(a) Look at the LWP source
(b) Install POE. Adjust the 'proxy.perl' script in that to intercept between
your browser and a proxy server, and print out all correspondence. Then post
it on the web for others to read.
