You shouldn't have many problems going from UNIX to Win2000 -- I regularly do the opposite, develop on Windows and transfer to *nix. However, I do use Apache on my Windows machine, which handles things in a more Unix way -- I highly recommend using Apache over the Win2000 server, as my experience with that server has been that it wants to do too much stuff for you, and insist on using Windows "features", which you may or may not want.
