You're probably using 
     $ perl -MCPAN -e shell
     > install <moduleName>

If you're not, you should.  Anyway, this method tries 
3 different ways to download a module, lwp, Net::Ftp 
and ncftp.  Any one of these should work if you have 
them installed.  If not, install them.
