No, I've got to disagree with you. RTFM is not a valid post to this
list. If you feel the need to say RTFM (and I have occasionaly) then
say RTFM loudly to your computer and don't post. It is appropriate to
post something along the lines of "Have you read perldoc -f chomp?" But
RTFM is a pointless, insulting thing to say. What if this person didn't
know perldoc -f existed? I didn't until I started reading the list.
The purpose of this list (as far as I understand it) is to make newbies
better perl programmers. How does telling a newbie to Read The Friggin'
Manual achieve this if the newbie doesn't know what the manual is?
