I've made good experiences using the GD::Graph modules for simple charts.
You have to do any advanced operations like extrapolations yourself, though.
If this is too low level for you and if you do not care about the look and
style of the result, you should probably use gnuplot. There's a module,
Term::Gnuplot, available but I so far used gnuplot only directly by piping
information into it, so I cannot say anything about its usability.
