Win2K Installation

Hello,

I have a simple question about installing Perl
(ActivePerl) on a Win2K Server.
Does anyone know if after installing it on the server 
i have to restart it ?
There are other programmers using ASP on the same 
server and i would like to know about the "impact"
(if any) of having Perl ans ASP in the same server.
