Here's an untested idea as I've never had a need to do this. Create a hidden field with the name 'hdel' and insert the $hostip value in there. I would expect that when you request the 'hdel' parameter from CGI, that it would return a list of all values (both from the checkbox and the hidden field). This effect would depend on browser behavior so you should test on several browsers. An alternative would be to use sessions and store that value as a session variable. See CGI::Session or Apache::Session (which does not require Apache or mod_perl) for more details.
