i need to tie information from both a mysql database and a navision database ( c/side ) together into a cgi program. i have tried a few of the ODBC modules from CPAN to attempt to get into the navision database but thus far i have not be successful. has anyone ever retrieved data from navision with perl?
as a side note, to further complicate issues this is partially needed to help us migrate some of the data together into a mysql database later while we upgrade to the newest version of navision. the navision we run now is highly customized with navision's native programming language and therefore we don't get an easy upgrade. this also means that our db is older than the versions currently being worked on now that they are a microsoft company and have switched the name to attain. any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated Jamie Bridges
