Hi all,

I've seen the following line in a search script that uses swish-e search
engine:

"# This example program will only run under an OS that supports fork()."

I think fork is supported under Unix, but what about Windows?

Is fork a Perl function or only a Unix command?

If it is a Perl function, can I use it under Windows?

If I can't use it, do you know where can I find a good Perl script that uses
Swish-e search engine?

I have a script that runs under Windows, but it displays all the results on
a single page.
For the moment I don't know how to make a script which displays only a given
number of messages per page.

Thanks for any tips.
