Uncle Drieux Learns an important lesson.

Never let artists download and install interesting
perl CGI's to the site CGI without making sure that
they 'get it' about security.

I mean some ancient piece of cgi form got hacked today
and was spamming from our site - I mean they must have
gotten at least three pieces of email out before the
JackBootedFascistThugUberGeek shut that down, and explained
that we needed to have the 'perl guy' check it out.

Fortunately for our Artist - she downloaded well mannered
perl CGI that gave a URL to the site, and a version string,
and the usual cool stuff - so all I had to do was go back,
look at their site - notice their FLAMING BIG LETTER update
for 'security issues' - download, read their README, after
looking at the new version - going "I like, these folks are good"
and....

So while most folks here may not yet be ready for prime time....

AIM HIGH - put the Version string in, use proper internal
documentation.....

The Geek you Protect may be your Replacement as you start
the long march to corporate wealth and fame....
