are you having an error talking to MySQL on Win32 with ActiveStates Perl as
well as Hytham?

Have you successfully installed packages before using PPM? I'm trying to
rule out a PPM specific issue here rather than a DBI issues - it certainly
looks as if there is a basic installation issue here.

what happens if you type "SEARCH DBI" from within the PPM? What does it say?
