Win2K comes with IIS 5.0 which can run CGI or embedded ASP (usually JScript or VBscript but can be PerlScript if you let ActiveSTate make the relevant changes and you have IIS running) but it won't be installed by default.
Can you check if IIS is installed using CONTROL PANEL, ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS, ADD REMOVE WINDOWS COMPONENTS Another dialog will appear showing installed windows components - make sure IIS is checked. After this is installed (and probably a reboot) you MIGHT have to reinstall ActiveStates Perl so that it can detect that the webserver is now present and can install ISAPI etc. The ActiveState documentation has lots of info re configuring the webserver regards Joel -----Original Message----- From: Jaishree Rangaraj [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 04 February 2002 20:39 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: I am begginer using CGI andperl, please help Hello, I use win2000 and recently installed Active perl.
