May I add one other thing?
Sorry if this is posted on both lists, but it's useful for everyone.

PLEASE post mails with a *descriptive* subject!

Subjects like

"Problem"
"Help please"
"I need some advise"
"Question"
"Beginner question"
and such should be *avoided*.

We almost all receive hundreds of emails per day and deleting messages
where we can't help is faster by the subject than reading it all to see
that it was *nix related when you are on windows, or reverse.

Also, posting a useful subject boosts your chances of having a reply
since *many* "gurus" from the lists do filter out all general subjects
without even reading them

Thanks

Etienne
