I just thought it would be nice to centralize the mod_perl discussion 
here, along with the rest of the perl-related stuff.. seeing as the 
stiff competition from the PHP fanatics and with the help of the Zend 
Optimizer, PHP appears to far outstrip mod_perl in both memory usage and 
speed. the more people that can get involved with improving mod_perl the 
better, and again, bringing discussion to one centralized location for 
these things isn't a bad idea.
