While on the topic of good/bad questions, notice the response the MySQL
question recieved.  It was a very specific, well worded question, and got an
overwhelming response.

As far as tension, I think the culture of Perl goes against that, and most
subscribers to this list also have at least a little bit of that spirit.

I agree that "How do I do this" questions alone aren't productive, and have
witnessed Ovid gallantly prompting for more information, and the asker
usually doesn't come through with code or even a follow-up email.  I guess
when the response isn't pre-written code, they look elsewhere.  A disease of
man, I believe.

OK, enough philosophy.
