I have been programming using PErl for a couple years.
Here is a very basic computer science question which I am of not.
I ahve always used subroutines but dont really pass variable to them. havent
felt the need.
I guess because I have them declared globally at top of script. It hasnt
caused problems and
I've written very long scripts, thousands of lines without problems.
What should cause me to have to pass variables to a subroutine through
arguments?
