Help w/ Reseting Counter

I have a counter script that keeps on reseting, I can't figure out why.  It keeps 
track of the total hits, daily hits, and will archive the info for the day to an 
archive data file.  Any help would be appreciated.  I'll link you to the code so your

Everything works fine except for the fact that it resets everyonce and awhile.  It 
doesn't reset at a certain point in the day it's just random I think.
