Hi, In case it is helpful, there is some more information about this at <https://bitbucket.org/blais/beancount/issues/411>. In particular though, the primary reference for this behavior is at <http://furius.ca/beancount/doc/tolerances> which I don't see mentioned anywhere yet on this discussion.
