Well the slowing down for 2.0 release was something like 3-6 months ago.
I haven't changed a whole lot since, mainly doing bug fixes.
I feel that "waiting period" has been spent.

Maybe it's time.

Yes, I'm aware. It does require to add a dependency on an external library
though.
